APPROACH TO CALCULATING REMUNERATION FOR IMPLEMENTING PERFORMANCE INDICATORS BY THE FACULTY MEMBERS

Abstract (English):
The aim of the study is to justify the need and describe the technical specifications for developing a system of proc-essing data on the faculty employees’ performance, to calculate the adequate remuneration for the results of an effective contract in accordance with the methodology approved at the university, to provide data for the university’s reporting to the founder and other regulatory authorities in terms of indicators characterizing the performance and unrelated to the educational process. The article objectives are to: analyze data on the faculty effectiveness for calculating incentive payments, to examine the current state of the calculation automation, to study existing software products for the calculation automation of incentive payments within the framework of an effective contract, to describe the technique implemented in developing automated calculation systems, to consider the technical specifications for the software product and its user functionality. Research methods are used: theoretical method (classification, analysis), empirical method (experiment, observation, surveys, questionnaires), analysis of the statistical processing results, generalization. The novelty consists in forming a mechanism for working with data on the professional performance in accordance with the adopted methodology by minimizing human participation and providing a wide range of calculated and analytical information. The result of the study is a requirement description for the software product and technical specifications for its creation. Findings: The features of calculations analyzed in the study as part of the effective stimulation of the higher educational institution staff, in particular, the faculty members, have made it possible to form a technical task on creating a software product that minimizes the human influence on the calculations, that forms reporting documentation for analyzing the staff performance to carry out stimulating payments that forms reporting for external users and making managerial decisions.
