INFLUENCE OF THE GEOMETRIC DIMENSIONS OF THE STRIKER ON THE EFFICIENCY OF THE TRANSMITTED ENERGY OF SHOCK PULSES DURING WAVE DEFORMATION HARDENING
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article presents data on the influence of the geometric dimensions of the striker on the efficiency of the transmitted energy of shock pulses during wave deformation hardening. As a result of modeling, it was found that increasing the ratio of the striker length to its diameter from 0.1 to 10 allows transmitting 15.6 times more energy of the shock pulse to the deformation center.
