Рассмотрены факторы, определяющие работоспособность несущих элементов кузовов вагонов. Предложены новые подходы к оценке напряжённого состояния кузовов вагонов, устойчивости несущих элементов. Показана важность оценки живучести несущих элементов.

All studies were performed according to standard procedures using cer-tified equipment. The results showed that the majority of the inserts (80%) did not meet the re-quirements of GOST 3882-74 for a hard alloy VK20
