Abstract (English):
The article presents the results of research for upsetting tool inserts made of hard alloy VK-20 different manufacturers. All studies were performed according to standard procedures using cer-tified equipment. The results showed that the majority of the inserts (80%) did not meet the re-quirements of GOST 3882-74 for a hard alloy VK20
