METHOD TO STUDY KINEMATICS OF WORKING EQUIPMENT MOTION OF A BULLDOZER WITH EXTENDABLE SECTIONS
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The forces developed on the working equipment of a bulldozer depend on the kinematics of motion of its moving elements. In the considered blade design with extendable sections, the intensification of soil mining is achieved by changing each of the cutting angle sections, installation angles in the direction of machine movement or by extending the sections with the blade in a straight position. Changes in the positions of the blade sections are achieved by combining the extensions of the hydraulic cylinder rods, which affects the change in the forces developed in them. The paper objective is to study changes in the positions of hydraulic cylinder rods when performing operations to change cutting angles and installation angles in the direction of movement of the machine or extending sections with a straight blade position. The task which the paper is devoted is to study the changes in the position of hydraulic cylinder rods of an improved oval bulldozer with extendable sections based on their kinematic properties. Research methods are based on the basic principles of theoretical mechanics and the theory of mechanisms and machines. The novelty of the work. A method for evaluating changes in the geometric parameters of the working equipment elements of a bulldozer (hydraulic cylinder rods) with extendable sections. Study results. The study is aimed at substantiation of the nature of the changes in the parameters of the hydraulic cylinder rods, the angles between them for the improved design of the bulldozer blade when changing cutting angles, installation angles in the direction of the machine movement or when extending sections with the blade in a straight position. Conclusions. Based on the conducted research, the proposed method will automate the intensification of soil development by changing the position of the blade sections.
